Hey. My name is Ben and I'm an English student from Sheffield. HI.

I start things like this every so often when I'm bored of the rest of the internet. Hopefully I'm actually going to stick with this one.

It's (hopefully) going to be a place for me to write music reviews and opinions and all that kind of stuff... I used to be pretty good at it so I'm hoping this won't be entirely shit.

Musically I like ALL SORTS. I know that's just the cop out self-description mumbled whenever anyone without a music taste gets asked what they're into, but it's true. My favourite bands are Bright Eyes, Johnny Foreigner,  the Pixies, the Smiths and Modest Mouse, but I love everything from Slipknot and Faith No More to Odd Future and Kanye, via Ke$ha, the Kinsellas, Joy Division and (especially) Beyonce. But Florence and the Machine, Mumfords, White Lies, Pendulum... well I'm sure you'll learn.
